Return to Learn

The procedures contained in our Return to Learn Guide were designed to reopen Byng Schools while reducing the impact of COVID-19 on our students and staff. They are based on guidelines from the Oklahoma State Department of Education, Oklahoma Department of Health, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). We will be updating this information regularly based on current information.

 

As a District, we are committed to doing all we can to provide a successful learning experience for our students. We appreciate your support, encouragement, and feedback during these challenging times.

Dear Byng Families,

  • We are pleased to announce that a limited number of WIFI hot spot devices that will be available soon.
  • These hotspots are not intended for long term use, but rather for temporary, short term closures/quarantines.
  • The hotspots require a school device for use. No other device will be able to connect to the hotspot.
  • The WIFI hotspot provides filtered internet access to student technology devices for instructional purposes only and complies with the Children’s Internet Protection Act (CIPA).
  • The district hotspot will be assigned to district families in need of internet access at home depending on device availability during the period of quarantine.
  • If you are in need of home internet access then please contact your school administrator.
